The Mama’s Challenge,
Beyond the vision splendid,
Of the Mamma’s arms extended
As they ply the paddles swiftly
Through parting waters spread.
And the silver bubbles gurgle
As they cushion every hurdle,
And the river beckons onward
Like an endless silver stream.
And the field ahead grows thinner
As a few go home for dinner,
And the Mighty Mama’s
Pound their way along the track.
With the winning site approaching
They fall back on their coaching
And with super human strength
They gather pace.
The field flees in terror -
No room for any error -
And the Mighty Momma’s know they’ve
WON THE RACE
Epilogue – Insurance Item
If circumstances change
And the Mammas must decline,
You’ll find them on the sidelines
Blissfully sipping wine!!
